Adjustment Tips for Re-ordering:

How do I adjust the fit of my jeans if ...

There is a gap in the back of the waist

To fix this just pinch out the excess fabric at the waist and measure it. This is the amount you need to subtract from the waist.

The rise is too high

To lower the rise I would suggest putting the jeans on and marking where the rise is currently sitting on you, in the front and back. Then just move the jean down to where it feels comfortable and mark this spot as well. Then just measure the distance between the two spots and this should be the amount to subtract from the rise. Depending on what feels comfortable to you it might be a different amount subtracted from the front and back rise but this is fine. Once you have the jeans sitting where you would like them to, then just decide if you need to add to the waistband at all. Usually if you are lowering the rise you have to add a little since the jeans will be sitting lower on your hips. Please note we ALWAYS suggest changing the rise as a fit adjustment and not by changing the rise style. This way you know the exact amount being added or subtracted to the rise.

The jeans are too long in the crotch

This is actually a rise problem as well. I would suggest putting the jeans on and pull them up so the crotch is where you would like it to be. Mark this spot on your waist in the front and back. Then lower the jeans back down to where the waist sits comfortable on you and mark this spot as well. Then just measure the distance between the two spots and this should be the amount to subtract from the rise. Depending on what feels comfortable to you it might be a different amount subtracted from the front and back rise but this is fine. If you leave the waistband the same the jeans will fit in the same spot but now with the shorter rise the crotch will essentially be taken up.

My jeans are too short/long

To adjust the length of the jeans you will want to adjust the inseam. Please keep in mind the jeans will shrink about half an inch in length over multiple washes.

I don't like how wide/narrow the bottom of the jeans is

There are two options for you to change the bottom opening of the jeans. You can adjust solely the bottom leg opening if you just want to make the jeans a few inches wider or smaller. You can also change the leg style if you would like to go for something completely different but keep in mind this change will affect more than just the bottom opening. It can affect the knee and thighs as well.
