I don’t know about you, but finding the PERFECT pair of jeans has always been an elusive quest for me. Having short legs and a too-long torso has always made it difficult to find a pair of jeans that fit my body type without having to spend extra money at the tailor. Since my middle school days, I was always cutting the inseam of my jeans or trying to find denim that would not make my long torso look even odder. Sure…I thought to myself, and then the kind folks over at indidenim.com asked if I’d like to try out their service and jeans. Note: I’m not a huge jeans gal and have never really put that much thought into finding the perfect fit of a pair of jeans. Well, until now.

Pros:
- You can choose from DESIGN YOUR OWN JEAN or you can choose from their CUSTOM FIT COLLECTION which eliminates some of the extra work.
- Love the jean fabric selection where you can pick from premium American, Japanese, Spanish denim options. I chose from Japanese denim which is spun on vintage looms, and you can really feel the quality of the denim.
- From choosing the inseam to the pocket design, you can make it as traditional or as trendy as you like. I wanted to be different and tried out the “heavy distressing with holes and scratches,” as I’ve never had such a pair and wanted to see how it would turn out. You can also pick the hemline style as well as the shape of both front and back pockets.
- You can choose from several fits of Classic slim fit (SoMa) to Trouser jean (Presidio) and men’s low rise (mission) and classic fit (Potrero).
- I LOVED the BODY SHAPE section which made it a bit more comfortable for me to order jeans online because it gets super specific including tummy shape, waist shape, seat shape, and waist gape. Being honest with yourself about your body shape is easier when you order jeans to custom fit your body. Usually you’re just in a store trying to fit into jeans that were probably made for models.
- Full refunds if you’re not satisfied or better yet, the “Perfect Fit promise,” so if you’re not satisfied, they will work to make your jeans to your specifications.

Cons:
- Prices for the indiDenim jeans start at $145 which is quite steep, but that includes the satisfaction guarantee as well as the quality of the product. I’m a big believer that you should spend money on a few quality products that last a LONG time, and this is one of them
- It was a bit overwhelming in the beginning when I was picking all the sizes, pocket designs, fit because I honestly have never put that much thought into how a pair of jeans fit my body. But once I received my pair of Indidenim jeans and saw how well they fit my figure, it made me realize that I should’ve cared sooner because I know they’ll last for many years. Also, the jeans were completely in line with my specifications with my body type, shortness of my legs, and even my too-long torso.
