The denim culprit

Mom jeans. The bane of our maternal existence. Often come in lighter washes, these jeans are too high, too tight and are oddly tapered on the leg.  They earned the name “mom jeans” because they are the most popular choice of jeans by fashion-challenged moms out there.  These jeans unfortunately accentuate every unflattering body part, from the waist to the thighs.

Saturday Night Live recently did a hilarious faux ad on mom jeans just to showcase how unflattering they look on moms. Watch the snl video
